Morning - Adventure playground at Mendip Adventure

Afternoon - A taste of the West Country at The Railway Inn and an underground experience at Wookey Hole 

Visit the Somerset village of Sandford for a traditional country pub lunch. The Railway Inn is run by legendary local cider makers Thatchers, at their HQ Myrtle Farm (which is also open for tours). It’s the perfect place to sample their range, together with hearty pub classics starring ingredients from fellow West Country producers.

Prepare for an exhilarating afternoon at the country’s most famous caves, Wookey Hole. Venture under the Mendip Hills for an unforgettable subterranean adventure, led by highly experienced cavers. Along the way, there’ll be abseiling, traversing over deep water, via ferrata climbs and the chance to witness rare geological and archaeological features.
